Fotbal

Fotbal, known as soccer in many countries, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each, where the objective is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. Each team can use any part of their body except the hands and arms to control the ball, with the exception of the goalkeepers, who may use their hands within the penalty area. The game is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, with a goal at each end. Matches typically consist of two halves of 45 minutes each, with stoppage time added at the referee’s discretion.

The sport is governed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) at an international level, and is one of the most popular sports worldwide, with a significant following and numerous professional leagues and competitions, including the FIFA World Cup. The focus of fotbal is not only on physical skills such as speed, agility, and tactical awareness but also on teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. Throughout history, fotbal has evolved to incorporate various styles and playing philosophies, making it a dynamic and widely celebrated sport.
